Meet the Author

Melissa is dedicated to equipping people to know God so well that they'll recognize Him anywhere. She is one of the staff pastors at the church she and her husband, Andy, started in 2003. They have served the Body of Christ together since 1989. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. She is a wife, mom, grandmother, daughter, friend, pastor, speaker, author and chocolate chip cookie fanatic.
The real rewards of her life are her husband, five children, two sons added by marriage, and nine grandchildren. Her life motto might read:
“You can make plans for your life, but one thing for sure, plan to be surprised.”
Melissa writes from decades of loving Jesus and loving people. She brings relevance and honesty to the perceived mystery of communicating with God, helping others relax into the delight of hearing Him.
